I cannot get this to work :/ Any suggestions:

www:/etc/init.d# ipset -N autoban iphash ––hashsize 4096 ––probes 2 ––resize 50
ipset v6.10-genl-xta: Unknown argument: `––hashsize’

Yes, without encryption. You can use scp for that.

What do you mean – on-the-fly blocking use?

It’s useful if you need to block really a lot of IP addressess.

I assume there is a typo in the shell load example. You create a set named autoban and add addresses into set named ban. Anyway, thanks for the hint. By the way, does anybody know about some automagical on-the-fly blocking use of the ipset?
